Even when off duty, Hudson Police Officer Kevin Sweet is on the job. He was visiting his mom when he noticed an animal desperately needing help.
A frightened young deer had gotten tangled in some Christmas lights and was unable to move. Officer Sweet could see that the lights were wrapped around the deer’s neck and legs and immediately set to work to rescue the small animal!
I love how Officer Sweet spoke gently to the deer while helping to free him – what a perfect name for a great guy! Thank you Officer Sweet!
