Golden Retriever ‘Barktender’ Steals the Show at Couple’s Wedding
When Lauxmont Farm Weddings hosted a recent wedding at their facility they were struck by who the wedding couple getting married arranged for the bartender – or should we say “Barktender” – it was their dog Solo Saber the Golden Retriever.
It turns out “grandpaw” made a custom-built “shot delivery harness” filled with small bottles of different alcohols that guests could pick. Solo walked around the party saying hello to guests and handing out drinks – pawsome!
As Lauxmont Farm Wedings wrote on TikTok, “We’ve seen a lot of wedding ideas… but a shot dog? That’s a new favorite This VIP (Very Important Pup) stole the show—and handed out the shots.”
They added, “The bride & groom’s four-legged bartender came fully dressed for the occasion, harness loaded with mini bottles and tail wagging with pride. Cheers to love, laughter, and pups who really deliver!”
The original “Barktender” has his own TikTok page where his proud family noted, “To all the dog-obsessed parents, we highly recommend including your dog in your wedding as a barktender!!”
Tiktokker @solo_saber_the_golden added, “Let me know if you want the design plans to this custom-built shot-delivery harness that my grandpaw made for me!”
And how was Solo after the event? He was one tired and happy pup knowing he had a job well done.
