Woman Sees A Freezing Teen Waiting For The Bus And Gives Her The Coat Off Her Back

Sometimes things can go terribly wrong and still turn out amazing. That’s what happened when two strangers connected on a bitterly cold Virginia night. Felicia Glover reached out to help Kinley Crenshaw, who had no coat, no money and no way to get home. When Kinley shared Felicia’s act of kindness on Facebook she started a social media frenzy and a friendship.

Teenager Kinley Crenshaw went to a concert with her friend and after the evening event, she rushed outside and became separated from her friend in the crowd. The teen had decided not to bring a jacket and her friend had all her valuables (phone, keys, wallet). Not sure what to do, she went to a bus stop and decided to wait. That’s when Felicia Glover saw her.

The mother noticed Kinley asking strangers for direction home, and grew worried about the stranded teen. She went over to Kinley and literally took the coat off her back to give it to the shivering teen.

She then waited with her until the bus arrived and talked to the bus driver, convincing him to let the girl ride for free. Kinley got her guardian angel’s name but nothing more.

Kinley was so grateful for Felicia’s help that she posted about it to Facebook, writing, “I completely forgot to give this woman her coat back and give her the sincere thanks and utmost gratitude she deserves. This woman without knowing a single thing about me showed complete generosity, compassion and humanity. I have to find this woman and I won’t give up until I do.”

What happened next is a wonderful story of the rewards that come with acts of kindness.
