Mark Rober, a former NASA engineer, loves building puzzles and tricky mechanical traps, among them glitter bombs for package thieves.
His most recent YouTube video to go viral is one of a complex underwater maze he built for his former pet octopus (he’ll explain why the octopus is no longer his pet, and don’t worry it’s a happy ending).
He wanted to see just how intelligent octopi are and wow does this one impress.
Not only does the octopus show off how incredibly smart they are at solving problems, Rober explains how their brains and thinking are completely “alien” from the majority of mammals on earth.
