Ward Miles had a dramatic first year of life. Born three months prematurely, he weighed only 1.5 pounds and had to be rushed to the Neonatal Care Intensive Unit. During those early, stressful months, his dad, Benjamin Scot Miller, and mom, Lyndsey, kept a watchful eye on him.
Benjamin is a professional photographer and took some intimate footage of his son and wife at hospital. He wrote, “He was born way too early, and the obstacles he had to overcome were really big, but not bigger than our God.”
After spending his first months in the hospital, Ward’s parents were thrilled when he was finally healthy enough to go home. Benjamin decided to pair Ward’s early months with the beautiful months that followed to create this heartwarming movie of Ward’s first year.
