Joanna rescued a tiny crow who ended up becoming best friends with her German Shepherd. Pepe was just a baby when he fell out of a tall tree and his mom didn’t come back for him.
Joanna took him home and soon Pepe was going on walks with Xena and playing tug-of-war with her!
Joanna wanted to make sure Pepe could return to the wild so she taught him to how to fly and fed him in a way he could learn to fend for himself. As he grew up, Pepe has never stopped impressing Joanna with his smarts. He’s since moved on and made crow friends and become more and more independent. But the crow always makes sure to come home to visit his family.
