Rescue Kangaroo Insists On Relaxing On Couch And Getting Cuddles Every Day

Rufus the rescued kangaroo came to Pumpkins Patch Kangaroo Sanctuary when he was around 8 months old. The young joey quickly discovered the comforts of their sofa. Now, every evening around 6pm he’s knocking at the door to be let inside so he can relax on the couch and get some cuddles with dad.

Kym Haywood, who runs the animal rescue, says that Rufus has his very own spot on the couch. When they go to sleep for the evening, Rufus goes back outside to be with the other kangaroos.

Says Kym, “Rufus is such a character. He’s filled with so much personality.” And he’s obviously a couch potato!
