Almost a year from the day she was adopted, Ember the Pit Bull returned the favor and helped save a young boy when he had a medical emergency!
Ember was adopted by the Daniels family in June 2014 from Adore-A-Bull Rescue in Cincinnati and she immediately formed a special bond with 10-year-old Tre Daniels. The formerly homeless street dog soon became a beloved family member and it wasn’t long before Ember should what a special dog she is.
Tre’s mother explained to Ohio’s Local 12 that the family was sleeping when Ember sat down next to the bed early in the morning and began to make a low grumbling noise. “It wasn’t even a growl, it was just this odd grumble, she tells the news station.
Ember would not let up until Tracy got up and followed her down the hallway. She led Tracy to the bathroom and that’s when Tracy saw her son in the bathtub.
“I saw Tre’s legs just hanging over the side of the tub there,” she describes in the video. “And as I looked into the tub, half of his body was out and the other half was in the tub and his head was fully extended back.”
Tre was experiencing some sort of seizure! He can’t remember how he fell into the tub, but he was rushed by medics to the hospital.
Doctor’s ran tests and thankfully everything came back normal, so Tre is back home now. The moment he got back, his loyal friend was glued to his side and watching over him!
It’s wonderful to see how a dog previously abandoned and homeless on the street could become such a great family member!
