I never thought I would love watching a spider so much, but these peacock spiders changed my mind. Smaller than a thumbnail (approx. 4 mm in size), the male peacock spider (Maratus speciosus) sports beautiful colorations and is found Western Australia. The tiny jumping spider “dances” as part of its mating courtship and in this video its courtship dance is humorously synched to the Village People’s ‘YMCA’!
