A man staying at a hotel in San Francisco had a comical encounter with artificial intelligence when trying to get on the elevator only to find it blocked by two robots. He shared the funny video online and wrote, “”Chance encounter between me and two robots in a standoff in a hotel elevator in San Francisco.”
The two robots are bumping into each other “in a standoff” so the man decides to help the confused robots out.
With some gentle nudging he manages to sort the confused robots out, not that they don’t beep at him, which prompts him to remind them that he’s “trying to be nice.”
Some viewers noted that the robots seem to bear more than a passing resemblance to droids in Star Wars. What do you think?
