A man came to the rescue of a calf trapped on any icy pond with the help of a rope and his excellent lasso skills. Max Bishop is known as the “go-to cowboy” if livestock gets into trouble and this little calf definitely needed help!
Bishop was asked by a neighbor to help save the calf who was struggling to stand on the icy pond in Paragould, Arkansas. Standing at the edge of the frozen pond, Bishop tosses the rope towards the calf but he misses a few times before successfully lassoing the calf’s leg.
Bishop shared that it was the first time he had roped an animal stuck on the ice and said that the calf was reunited with her mom shortly after her rescue.
