For ten years Avi Gandhi has been running his store, Centre Lane Stationary, in the town of Levittown, Long Island. He’s been a good friend to his loyal customers. In all that time he’s never taken a single day off and has worked 12 hours a day, every day.
Even when his wife got sick with cancer he could not afford to take the time off. She pulled through, but now due to financial difficulties Avi may have to close his store next year. That’s when the people in town decided to show him how much his friendship has meant to them and the community.
