A recent soccer match in Pereira, Colombia got interrupted by an adorable intruder. Two-year-old Maximiliano got away from his mother, skirted some netting and ran onto the field to try and join his older brother, Matias, to play. Seeing that his brother was interrupting the game, Matias ran over to his little brother to grab him but that’s when the referee intervened.
As Matias is carrying Maximiliano over to the sidelines, the referee blows his whistle for him to stop. That’s when he pulls out his red card to “expel the boy from the field.” But it’s all in good natured fun and the referee gives the naughty boy a big hug and then carries him back to his mom.
