A snow leopard cub pounces on her mom with hilarious results.
In the adorable clip, which appears to have been filmed at New England’s Stone Zoo, snow leopard cubs Naphisa and Pandora are climbing rocks while their mom, Kira lazily looks on.
That’s when one of the cubs decides to pounce! But she wasn’t expecting her mom’s reaction at all.
The cub’s mama may be playfully acting scared to encourage her baby. Often, big cats will play the “You got me!” game with their cubs as a means of positively reinforcing their little ones’ predator drive and boosting their confidence.
It’s not the first time a mama snow leopard pretending to be scared has been filmed.
