Jeff Markin was driving to work when his life was about to take a dramatic turn. He started to feel sick and called his boss, who told him she should go to the hospital. He doesn’t remember driving to the hospital but soon after he entered the emergency he collapsed, suffering a massive heart attack.
Dr. Chauncey Crandall was called in to try and save Markin’s life. They worked on him for 40 minutes until Dr. Crandall reluctantly pronounced him dead.
But Markin’s story did not end there. While a nurse was preparing Markin’s body for the morgye, Dr. Crandall was finishing his chart and walking away when he heard a voice call out to him to go back to Markin. What happened next was miraculous!
