Two Americans Set Up An Orphanage In China. Now They’re The Legal Parents Of 30 Kids. Inspiring!

A young American couple wanted to make a difference in the lives of others and moved to China a few years ago to establish an orphanage. Through a remarkable series of events, Ben and Michelle Godard have been given the opportunity to love, care for and become the legal guardians of 26 homeless children in the small county of Pingyu in Henan province, in addition to their own 3 children.

The couple focus on taking care of children no one else does and are one of very few foreign-run orphanages run in China. “We help left behind children,” said Ben. “It’s an orphanage but our goal is to have it be a home.”

It’s well worth watching all 20 minutes of this fascinating story of love, compassion and selflessness. Share this inspiring video with your friends and family!
