What normally would be every pet parent’s worst nightmare turned into a funny story when a family’s 5-year-old Golden Retriever named Riley went missing last week.
The dog escaped the yard (by opening the gate himself!) and ran away, but before the family could freak out, they got a call. Riley had shown up at his doggy daycare a mile away from home!
Riley has been going to the daycare since he was a puppy and it seems on this particular day he just wanted to hang out with his friends.
His mom said he’s never, ever done anything like it before (and there’s an extra lock on the gate now). One thing is for sure, Riley must really love daycare!
