It’s not often that you get to witness true compassion in action. But what this police officer did for an injured dog brought tears to my eyes.
Officer Carlos Sosa helped a dog after the dog was hit by a car on a Spanish highway. The kind-hearted police officer refused to leave the side of injured dog and gave him comfort before taking him to a veterinary medical clinic for medical attention.
Sadly, veterinarians couldn’t save the dog’s life and he was humanely euthanized, but Officer Sosa made sure that he didn’t die on the side of the road that night. The veterinary caregivers with the dog made sure the dog knew he wasn’t alone and felt love and care in his last moment before leaving this world! Thank you, Officer Sosa!
