English Bulldog Puppy Born With Half A Body And Her Disabled Pal Are Heart-melting Duo

Bonsai is an English Bulldog puppy born with multiple congenital deformities. He was born with just half of his spine, no pelvis and deformed legs. The main condition he has is a human one called Caudal Regression Syndrome (Sacral Agenesis). He was rescued by Texas-based Friends of Emma and as far as they know, he is the only dog in the world with this condition. Despite his rare health problems, the puppy is a strong boy and continues to thrive.

In addition to his several other conditions, Bonsai has Swimmer’s Syndrome, which thankfully, is reversible with time and therapy. One thing that really helps with Swimmer’s Syndrome, is swimming!

In the video below Here he is enjoying a dip in the baby pool with his buddy Ransom to keep him company. Ransom, himself knows a thing or two about surviving and living with disabilities. The Pit Bull was born with short tendons in his back legs and thrown into a trash can by his backyard breeders when he was just 5 weeks old. Now he watches over Bonsai and makes sure the little guy isn’t the only one having fun in the pool!
