Young Dancers Perform Unforgettable ‘Beauty and The Beast’ Routine And Wins Top Prize

When 7-year-olds Paige Glenn and Artyon Celestine took centre stage at the Murrieta Dance Project competition the pair were dressed like something out of a fairy tale. But their dance was thoroughly modern and full of complicated dance moves that thoroughly enchanted the audience and won them 1st place overall.

The youngsters decided to dance the parts of Belle and the Beast from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and choreographed their dance to Take as Old as Time. As one might expect the dance has a touching, lyrical quality to it.

But the routine isn’t all soft poses, it also shows off their incredible acrobatic skill. Artyon in particular shows amazing strength in his lifts and incredible flexibility in his flips, given his young age.

With the talent these two have, I can only imagine what their dance performances will be like in a few years!
