This Soldier’s Son Ignores Military Rules To Show Mom How Much He Loves And Misses Her

Three-year-old Cooper Waldvogel loves his mother more than military protocol. He hadn’t seen his mom, Kathyrn, in 9 months because she had been serving in Afghanistan with the National Guard’s 114th Transportation Company.

Upon returning home to Minnesota, she and the other soldiers were told by their sergeant to file into the auditorium and they would be dismissed shortly, but not to say hello to family members because it would take too long. But Cooper had waited long enough!
