A starving puppy found in Spain has made a stunning recovery. When she was found she was so skinny and weak she couldn’t stand or walk.
Named Barilla (after the spaghetti maker) she was rescued by Eduardo Rodriguez, the founder of Albergue de Animales Dog House, who chronicled her recovery over several months.
She was rescued on February 25, 2016 and over the course of a few months came back from weighing a mere 16 pounds (7.5 kilos).
Slowly but surely she gained weight and strength to stand.
With lots of love and support, Barilla began to put on muscle.
Her transformation from skeletal to healthy is nothing short of amazing.
Barilla now has a permanent home with Eduardo.
She absolutely adores her new dad.
