When mom Bethany went to the beach with her four kids she had no way of knowing the family was about to get the surprise of a lifetime.
Bethany and the kids were having a fun-filled day swimming at a beach Okinawa Island in southern Japan, where her husband U.S. Air Force Doctor Capt. Hyrum Bronson was stationed. He had been away in Afghanistan for six months at the time this video was recorded and was scheduled to be coming home in three weeks.
While they were playing in the water, a family friend suggested he record a video and send it to dad before he arrives home. Little did they know that someone special was about to pop out of the water behind them in his fatigues and underwater scuba gear. Sneaky dad!
