Jared Axen is a nurse with a uniquely special way of comforting his patients. It all started when he casually sang in the halls of Valencia Hospital in California, where he works. When Jared realized that many patients were coming out of their rooms to listen to him sing, he thought his singing could be a good way to personalize his care and soothe their pain.
This heartwarming video follows Jared (“The Singing Nurse”) on his rounds and captures him sharing a touching moment with an elderly woman named Norma Laskoske. She is moved to tears by his voice. Jared’s personalized touch has a truly positive effect on his patients.
