Seal Asks Diver For A Belly Rub And Shows Why They Are Known As The ‘Dogs Of The Sea’

Gary Grayson was diving off the Isles of Scilly in England when a group of Atlantic grey seals approached them. That’s when the videographer had the most unusual interaction with the seal. The seal gets right up close to the diver, puts his flipper on the man’s hand and asks for a belly rub. Yes, a belly rub! Proof positive that seals really are the “dogs of the sea”!

This is definitely not a one-time thing. Another group of divers near the Farne Islands also met very friendly seal pups too!
