Police Officer’s Act Of Kindness After Teen’s Death Comforts Community

One police officer’s act of kindness in the face of a heartbreaking tragedy has become the talk of a close-knit town. Seventeen-year-old Patrick Sullivan died in a car crash on New Year’s Day in Rockland, MA. His family and friends were devastated.

After Patrick’s wake, 22 of his friends went to a local restaurant. When they had finished and asked for the check, they discovered a police officer had already picked up the $400 tab and didn’t leave his name.

It turns out the unnamed officer was Sgt. Greg Pigeon. He went to the same high school as Patrick and was deeply affected by the teen’s death. The officer’s kind gesture will restore your faith in humanity!
