Piper was rescued from a horrific hoarding case in Ohio. When rescuers pulled her from the home she was in seriously bad shape. Deaf, missing an eye, missing almost all her teeth and severely malnourished, Piper was going to need someone who really cared for her to pull her through.
Luckily, Piper’s new mom is up to the challenge. Although Julie says there’s not a manual for how to help a dog who can’t walk well, who can’t see well and has the problems Piper has, she’s finding a way to make Piper’s life as joyful and as fulfilling as possible.
