Meet Milo the Mystery Mutt. He’s a “magical mystery pibble mutt” and rescue dog with a big smile that wins over everyone who sees it. That’s because it stretches from ear-to-ear, and makes him look like the happiest dog in the world.

He’s got a sideways smile too.
Milo was adopted from Perfect Dog Rescue after his mom, Ivy Rylander fell in love with his picture.
He was only 8 months old when he was picked up as a stray and brought to a California shelter. He was anxious and shy, no doubt from his early experiences. He’s much more relaxed now and he likes wearing a Thundershirt.
A DNA test revealed that Milo is three quarters Staffordshire Terrier and a quarter Labrador.
It doesn’t really explain his “majestic tail”.
Or his beautiful plumed ears.
But that doesn’t really matter. “So many people just say that he smiles like a human,” Rylander told The Dodo. “A lot of dogs smile, but there’s something so big and happy about his grin.”
Milo smiles when he finds out they are going to the beach.
Car rides mean adventures, which means a happy grin.
He loves being outdoors.
And loves camping. After a long hike it’s time to nap in the tent.
His favorite foods are carrots and pizza crusts.
He loves his feline brother, Finny.
The two often nap together.
But most of all, he’s happy he has a forever home!
