When I think about making marshmallow treats I automatically think of Rice Krispy squares or toasting them over a campfire. I had never considered using them to decorate cupcakes. But as this video demonstrates, marshmallows can be made into beautiful flower cupcake toppers!
To make these delicious decorations you’ll need marshmallows and food coloring or a food-coloring spray. Some tips when making them:
– You will need to squish the marshmallows first before cutting them with scissors.
– Dip your hands in cornstarch to prevent the marshmallow from sticking to your fingers.
– Twist the center of your flower into place and rip off the excess to attach it to the flower.
