True love does exist, and this is the proof.
Helen and Kenneth Felumlee were married for 70 years. Every single day that they were together, Helen and Kenneth held hands at breakfast. And every single night, the couple slept together, even choosing to sleep together on the bottom of a bunk bed.
So their family knew that the two would never be apart, even in death. When Helen passed away last week, Kenneth followed her just 15 hours later.
Helen and Kenny met when they were teenagers and were inseparable.
Helen and Kenny got married in 1944, two days before Kenny’s 21st birthday. In Ohio, where the couple were from, Kenny was too young to marry, so they crossed the river and eloped in Kentucky. Kenny just couldn’t wait any longer to be married to his sweetheart.

When Kenny’s health started to fail, Helen took care of him. And when Helen became too frail, Kenny stayed by her side. Their children say that Kenny was ready to go, but didn’t want to leave his wife behind, so he hung on for her. And after Helen passed away, Kenny was gone with her by the next morning.
What an incredible story of love.
