A mother dog gave birth to puppies on an Israeli army base under one of the buildings but when rains began to flood the ground her puppies were in danger.
Soldiers had been feeding the stray dog food and water for some months and when they noticed she had given birth, they came to help her. She looks relieved that the men have come to assist her.
Video footage taken by the soldiers shows the mom crawling under the flooding structure to save her puppies after the men have cleared away some water with a bucket.
When they were freed, the rescuers wrote that “She won’t let them go now.”
The mother and her puppies are now safely at an animal shelter where hopes are the puppies and mother will find a home.
