Kind-Hearted Boys Step Up To Help Keep Their 75-Year-Old Neighbor Out Of Jail

A few really good kids stepped up to help their elderly neighbor after they discovered she had a warrant out for her arrest because her grass was too high.

Gerry Suttle, the 75-year-old woman in question, was issued a warrant for her arrest after she failed to show up in court for a complaint about the uncut grass on her property in Riesel, Texas. After watching a news report about her predicament, the Texas brothers, who had never met Suttle, realized she needed some help.

So, with the hot sun beating down, the boys brought their lawn mowers and set to work. “It’s a summer day, we don’t have season passes yet to Hawaiian Falls. What else could we do but go out and help some people,” said Blaine Reynolds, one of the boys who cut the grass.

Once the brothers got started, other residents in the community pitched in. A few hours later, they were done and their act of kindness moved Suttle to tears. She says she’s not often speechless, but on this day she was.

In the news video below, she gets to thank her generous young neighbors in person.

What awesome kids! Please share this story of kindness with your friends on Facebook!
