Visitors staying a lodge in Northern British Columbia got unexpected breakfast crashers when a pod of humpback whales appeared right at the docks.
The two humpback whales were caught on video feeding in the waters directly in front of Great Bear Lodge, which is located in Port Hardy on the northern part of Vancouver Island.
“Imagine our surprise when two humpback whales joined us for breakfast this morning,” the lodge wrote on YouTube. The tourists excitedly (and quietly) gathered on the dock to witness the amazing event – some still in their bath robes.
