Man Demonstrates Easy, Mess-Free Way To Peel A Pomegranate

Finally! I can peel a pomegranate without getting my hands all stained with juice. The following video shows an easy way to peel and eat one. The man demonstrates an efficient way to cut a pomegranate with only a few strokes.

Using a curved blade he cuts around the top (much like you would do if carving a pumpkin). He then peels off the top skin.

Next he makes 6 cuts down the side of the fruit (like you would an orange) and pulls it apart.

He takes out the extra pulp and there you have it – the pomegranate is ready to eat and enjoy!
