Man Shows How Skin Tags Can Be Easily Removed Using This Home Remedy

Skin tags are completely harmless and quite common. Almost half of all people have a skin tag at some point in their lives. Although there’s no medical reason to remove them, some people want to get rid of them because they are unsightly and annoying. This video shares a tip on how to remove them yourself using apple cider vinegar. By putting some on a cotton ball and rubbing the skin tag for 2 to 3 times a day, the skin tag should eventually darken and fall off.

Some people have anecdotally commented on this video that vinegar may scar and damage your skin and suggested to try clipping skin tags off (with sterilized scissors or nail clippers) or removing them by tying them off with dental floss (by tightening the string periodically over a few days it restricts the blood to the skin tag and they will fall off) as alternative removal methods that have worked for them.

One important thing to note, if you have a skin tag on your eyelid or around your eye do not attempt any treatments yourself without consulting a doctor.

As with all things medically related, it’s best to visit your doctor if you have any questions or concerns regarding skin tags. Doctors can remove them safely by either freezing or cutting them off and without damaging or scarring your skin.
