At a recent Abilities Expo, Patrick Dougherty demonstrated an invention sure to change how many people with disabilities who rely on wheelchairs get around. He explains that the front casters make traveling outdoors “a pain in the butt” are no longer a problem with this incredibly useful device.
Not only that, but bumps that would normally throw people right out of the wheelchair are now not a problem. It’s great to see something like this opening up new possibilities and new activities for people with disabilities.
