Adopted Dogs Help Two Men Who Just Got Of Jail Get Their Lives Back On Track

In First Days Out, two ex-convicts are trying to get their lives back on track after being released from prison. Matt, 23, was arrested for grand larceny and burglary. Joey, 38, spent 12 years in jail for armed robbery.

Both struggled with adjusting to their new lives and feeling alone. They both decided to visit an animal shelter to adopt a dog and that’s when things in their lives began to change for the better.

Their choice to adopt a pet not only saved the dogs’ lives it ended up boosting their self-esteem it helped them reconnect with their families and communities!
