These skaters’ routine is filled with such beautiful artistry, athleticism and emotion that people declared it “perfection”.
Russian pair skaters Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov put on an amazing performance that had the “wow factor” that everyone was looking for at the 2013 Skate America finals. Not only did the duo nail a series of difficult elements, they gave a dramatic performance that had the audience mesmerized.
The audience watched in awe as they skated flawlessly, executing a staggering array of triples (twists, twirls, and loops) and doubles and throws to the music of Jesus Christ Superstar by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Their moves just kept getting more technically difficult, making the suspense mount in the auditorium and leading one announcer to declare “the atmosphere is electric” before the pair conclude with a jaw-dropping lift.
