Every dog has their favorite toy and for Kya the Shiba Inu that toy is her stuffed Santa Claus. No matter what day of the year it is, Kya wants to play with Santa. Her humans, teen siblings John and Angelina Mantaldo, thought that it would be fun to take Kya to see the “real deal” and bring her to meet Santa. When they heard about a local mall that offers pictures of Santa with pets they knew they had to go.
“She really loves her Santa, and she has to have it year-round,” John’s 19-year-old sister, Angelina, said of Kya’s Santa toy obsession. “Whenever we come home, she brings it to us.”
On their outing, they brought their other dog Lucky, who freaked out when she saw Santa. But Kya, who usually is very hyper, suddenly went calm when she saw him, the siblings told Bored Panda.
“She just sat there and looked at him,” Angelina said. “[Kya] usually misbehaves when we take her to Petsmart, but she was behaving for Santa.”
When it came time for her photo, Kya jumped up right next to Santa and beamed! Just look at her smile!

The siblings were so pleased with the results they got wallet-sized pictures so they can carry her image around with them year round!
