Officers respond to all kinds of interesting calls as part of their daily duties. However, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies Josh Tillman and Brian McLaughlin must have been a little bit surprised when they responded to this one!
The Colorado deputies were called to a home where a black bear had apparently locked himself inside a Subaru. “How did he get in? I don’t see a broken window,” says one of the officers as he approaches the vehicle. The young bear stares back at him, his nose pressed against one of the car’s windows. Needless to say, the deputies approached with caution as they figured out a way to free the bear without doing harm to anyone! As to how the bear locked himself in? That remains a mystery.
