Debbie Reynolds Passes Away Day After Her Daughter Carrie Fisher

Debbie Reynolds has passed away on December 28, 2016, just a day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher. It’s reported that she was with her son and the last thing she said was that she was very, very sad about losing her daughter and that she wanted to be with her again. Fifteen minutes later she suffered a severe stroke. Reynolds was 84. The legendary Hollywood star appeared in many movies and is probably best known for her performance in the musical movie Singin’ in the Rain.

Reynolds began her career at age 16 and her first breakout role was co-starring with Gene Kelly in Singin’ in the Rain. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her work in 1964’s The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Reflecting on her career she said, “I gave it all that I had, and it’s gratifying that others seem to be receiving it so well.”

Here is Debbie Reynolds in a famous scene from Singing In The Rain.
