This father gave his daughter a precious gift to tell her how much she means to him. On her wedding day, Nicole Cortez’ father surprised her by signing to the song ‘I Loved Her First’ by Heartland.
Although Nicole is not deaf, she is a sign language interpreter. She was delighted when her dad began to sign and both bridge and groom brushed away the tears. Nicole said, “…This meant the world to me. He said it took him the entire year I was engaged to learn how to sign this song.”
What a beautiful gesture of love for his family!
