The world is filled with small and touching acts of kindness. Jon Sparkes, who works at Gala Bingo in Dover, England recently caught sight of such a scene when looking out the window on a rainy day.
He noticed a dog was tied up to a pole outside a store when a torrential downpour of rain started. A young couple walking by noticed the dog getting wet and decided to stop and help him stay dry.

The man took off his jacket and he and his girlfriend used it to try and shelter the German Shepherd.
When John saw what they did, he wanted to help too and brought out a two umbrellas to keep all three of them all dry.

The couple were grateful and they stayed outside for about 20 minutes until the owner came out, unaware it had been raining so hard.
Since posting the story to Gala Bingo’s Facebook page, John’s and the couple’s lovely acts of kindness have gone viral.
This story reminds me of a video that a man filmed when he saw his neighbor run out and help a stranger’s dog also left out in the pouring rain.
