Police Officers Make Dramatic Rescue Of Deer Caught In Thunderstorm

Two Kansas City police officers were driving in a thunderstorm across a bridge when they spotted a frightened deer trying to get across. In their dashcam footage, the deer can be seen struggling on the rain-slicked road and losing her footing. Disoriented, she slips and runs right into the concrete divider.

That’s when the officers intervene to help lead her off the bridge.

“She had nothing left. She trusted me. I walked over to her and said, ‘OK, let’s go,’ and I walked her just as if she were my dog,” Sergeant Steven Sandusky told KMBC.

What an incredible rescue! Share what these kind-hearted officers did to with your friends.
