Cherry dump cake. It didn’t sound so appetizing when I first heard it, but after watching this video, I’ve totally changed my mind! Not only is this recipe super easy and fast to make (it can be prepared in under 10 minutes), the finished cake looks scrumptious!
Taking a store-bought yellow cake mix, cherry pie filling, pineapple, brown sugar, butter and walnuts, MargaretsLifestyle prepares the ingredients in a baking pan. And once it is done baking in the oven for an hour, it’s ready to eat.
She says her family loves it and it makes a great potluck dessert too. She also changes the recipe around every time she makes it, substituting the cherry pie filling to peach.
This dump cake is definitely next on my “to make” list.
