Cactus Cuties Charming Performance of ‘The Star Spangled Banner’

Cami Caldwell’s parents have a wonderful legacy of music and theatre in West Texas community of Lubbock. Cami wanted to continue in her family’s footsteps, and encouraged by her mother, Cami, established a youth performance group she called the Cactus Cuties.

A core group of girls ranging in ages between eight and thirteen were coached by Cami in the late 2000s, and in 2008 they sang the Star Spangled Banner at a college basketball game. Their performance has so much charm, it’s no wonder the video went viral.

After garnering lots of positive attention, the group went on to perform all over the country at high-profile events and were featured in national media.

Share their performance with your friends and family!

Their enchanting performance reminds me of 11-year-old Lexi Walker’s powerhouse performance!
