Just two days after Céline Dion’s husband, Rene Angelil, passed away, her brother, Daniel has died of cancer at age 59.
His passing was announced in a news release from one of Céline Dion’s publicists, who wrote that Daniel died Saturday morning in a palliative care residence outside Montreal. Daniel was the eighth of 14 Dion children and a father of two.
Céline and her family are having a horrible week, and it’s understandable that they have asked for their privacy during this difficult time. We can’t help but offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to her and her family.
