Grant loves to dance, play instruments, to draw and to cook! He loves to do all kinds of things that other kids his age do. But he admits his feelings get hurt when people call him a baby, when he’s actually 6 years old. That’s because Grant was born with diastrophic dysplasia, a rare form of dwarfism.
Grant says he’s a “little person” and it might be a bit more difficult for him to do things, but he doesn’t let that hold him back. As he says in the heartwarming video below, he doesn’t want to be treated any differently. However, he does have an important message he wants to share and it’s a message of acceptance. “My wish for the world is that everyone can love one another,” Grant says. “We’re are all just people doing our very best.”
Grant certainly is wise beyond his years and obviously has a really big heart! I think he’s destined for great things.
