Bindi Irwin Remembers Her Father In Her Most Emotional Performance On “Dancing With The Stars”

Bindi Irwin has been performing on “Dancing With The Stars” for several weeks, and she gave her most emotional performance yet while remembering her father, “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin. The theme for the the fourth week of the reality show was “The Most Memorable Year” where contestants danced in honor of loved ones or a special year in their lives.

“What shaped me the most would probably be when my dad passed away,” she told her dance partner, Derek Hough. “It’s been nine years. And, I’ve never really dwelled on that point where he did pass away. So, I think I’m ready to kind of, tell that story.”

“I wish he could fully understand how much he has done for me,” Bindi added. “And, that I miss him.”

Bindi and Derek danced a contemporary piece to “Every Breath You Take” by The Police. Bindi was in tears at the end, hugging Derek. The audience and judges were also moved by her heartfelt performance.
