A tiny white dog was scrounging and surviving on the streets of Los Angeles when Rescue From The Hart was called by some concerned citizens who had been feeding the female dog. When they arrived to rescue her, they found the dog was living under a shopping cart and very afraid of being approached.
She looked like she might be pregnant, so they took their time to try and earn her trust. Although she was initially fearful, soon “Bailey” (as she was named) welcomed her rescuers’ attention and let them take her to safety.
Shortly after, Bailey went into labor and gave birth to 5 healthy and adorable puppies!
